Features of Tinplate Products
The 1420 and 1220 units of Baosteel Co., Ltd. are the largest and most advanced professional production units of electrotinning (chromium) in China at present, and also the only production plant in China with the whole process of steelmaking, hot rolling, cold rolling, annealing and tinning (chromium). The main equipment of each process is imported from Japan, Germany and France, and the advanced consistent quality management of Baosteel ensures that the products have excellent quality in terms of internal quality, appearance and surface quality. The designed annual production capacity of tinplate is 800000 tons, and the chrome plating capacity is 200000 tons. It can not only produce T1.5-T5 general purpose tinplate, but also develop DI, DR materials and other products with high production difficulties in China. Now Baosteel can produce the products of primary/secondary cold rolling CA (continuous annealing)/BA (cover annealing), tinning/chrome plating, and complete the variety coverage in this field. Electroplated tin (chromium) plate produced by Baosteel has been widely used in high-end metal packaging industries such as food and beverage.
