Product Description

 Abrasion-resistant plates (AR Plates) are made from wear-resistant steel, and this helps reduce the damage to equipment which has been caused by intense rolling abrasion and impact. Heat treatment such as quenching and tempering, or adding certain alloying elements can further increase its strength. Unlike other kinds of steel plates, these wear plates don't include any specific chemistry or standards in their manufacturing process. The hardness measured in Brinell units is considered the most decisive factor when grading quality of these plates.

Application
Steel plate with high fatigue resistance and strength is commonly used in the mining industry. Its wear resistant properties make it ideal for applications where abrasion, impact, and tear are significant. From liners and structural elements of buckets, skips, chutes, bins, ore pockets, conveyors, dump trucks; to all sorts of other mining uses - steel equipment can be reused several times before depreciation.
